National Committees & Councils

NAWIC’s national committees and councils carry out much of the association’s day-to-day work. Working alongside the Board of Directors and national staff, they develop initiatives, deliver programming and resources, and serve as the link between national leadership and members in the field, bringing member perspective into decisions and carrying national priorities back to chapters. Each group is member-led, and service is a benefit of your NAWIC membership.

Committees

Camp NAWIC Construction Career Camp Committee

The Camp NAWIC Committee helps chapters bring construction career camps to their communities. The committee provides the planning resources, templates, and guidance that make hosting a camp achievable, supports chapters running a camp for the first time, and works to grow the number of camps offered nationwide each year. Camps introduce young people to hands-on construction skills and to the women who work in the industry.
