Strategic Focus

The Legislative Industry Issues Committee (“LII”) of NAWIC empowers women in construction by educating members on legislative developments and legal rights, equipping them with resources to engage in policy discussions, and advocating for policies that support their advancement. LII will be the springboard by which NAWIC members can affect positive legal changes in DEI, safety, sustainability and other areas that impact women in construction—and by extension, everyone in construction. Through collaboration and active participation, we amplify the voices of women in construction and drive positive industry change.
