The NAWIC Construction Congress is an exclusive, think-tank, invite-only working session designed for a select group of leading construction industry executives, researchers, educators, business owners, and influential voices dedicated to promoting and retaining women in the sector. By focusing on these objectives, the Construction Congress seeks to enhance business operations and tackle the industry’s most significant challenges in the United States. In 2026, the convening is strategically held on Tuesday, August 11, one day prior to the opening of NAWIC’s Annual Conference taking place at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

Construction Congress is separate from the NAWIC Annual Conference and requires its own registration.

Launched in 2025, the annual Construction Congress brings together 30+ individual members representing prominent construction industry organizations. The intentionally designed intimate environment promotes learning, brainstorming, and networking. Its goals include:

• Facilitating open, honest, and confidential discussions on key construction industry issues and challenges with a select group of peers.
• Establishing and solidifying lasting connections with top leaders who are influencing the construction industry.
• Obtaining valuable research and insights, as well as contributing meaningfully to an industry feature story that will be published in NAWIC’s flagship publication, Industry Impact, which is distributed to NAWIC members and the wider construction community.
