As a NAWIC member, you will have access to resources and opportunities to get you where you want to go. We regularly survey chapter leaders and members to determine what is most important to YOU. We value your input about what type of educational opportunities and support would benefit you most. We are here to assist you in reaching your professional goals. Within our community, you will find a safe space to try on new hats, stretch your abilities and be the best you can be.
The North Central Region (NCR) of NAWIC supports the chapters in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. We welcome members from all sectors of the construction industry, and we are particularly well-represented with members working in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Membership in the NAWIC North Central Region will help you develop and broaden valuable business contacts for yourself and/or your company.

Annual Spring Forum & Fall Conference
In addition to all the great events hosted by your local chapter, the NAWIC North Central Region hosts an annual Spring Forum and a Fall Conference. These provide excellent opportunities to expand your professional contacts beyond your own chapter and gain new perspectives from a wide variety of women in our region. We strive to present dynamic speakers and provide networking opportunities that are truly beneficial to our members’ professional and personal growth.

Director, Debra Lesar, is our regional liaison on the NAWIC National Board. She believes that business relationships built through NAWIC are based on trust and respect and that the support you will receive when joining, will provide you with access to new resources and a community that will support both your personal and professional goals.
Director Lesar believes that being on a committee is a fantastic way to hone new skills while advancing the mission of NAWIC! Many of our members have discovered that their involvement in committees has grown their professional confidence, while also serving as a valuable addition to their resume.
We are always seeking new members interested in participating in our committees in a variety of different positions. Many different skill sets and talents are needed, so please contact us if you would like to grow your professional credentials and abilities by serving on a committee.
