Member Strong Recognition Award

Submission Period: May 14th-June 10th

The NAWIC Member Strong Recognition Award celebrates exceptional NAWIC members who have significantly influenced the association and the construction industry through leadership, mentorship, and advocacy — with up to 20 members recognized each year and featured in NAWIC marketing materials.

Entrants

  • All current NAWIC members in good standing are encouraged to apply
  • The nominee must have been a member of NAWIC for at least 1 year
  • Up to 20 members are awarded this recognition each year

A winning entrant must demonstrate:

  • Meaningful contributions that have transformed NAWIC and the broader construction industry
  • Active mentorship and advocacy that has paved the way for future leaders and underrepresented groups
  • Leadership and influence that extends beyond NAWIC into the wider construction community

Deadline

  • 2026 submissions deadline: June 10th
  • All materials must be submitted via Sessionboard. Submissions sent via email, phone, shared drive, fax, or post will not be accepted
  • Deadline extensions and exceptions will not be granted

Review Process

  • All eligible entries are evaluated by an independent panel of industry professionals
  • Jurors review submissions independently before convening to discuss and select recipients
  • Contact from applicants or their supporters to jurors is strictly prohibited

Recognition

Award recipients will be announced and honored at NAWIC’s Annual Conference. Recipients will receive additional details with their selection notification.
