As a NAWIC member, you will have access to resources and opportunities to get you where you want to go. We regularly survey chapter leaders and members to determine what is most important to YOU. We value your input about what type of educational opportunities and support would benefit you most. We are here to assist you in reaching your professional goals. Within our community, you will find a safe space to try on new hats, stretch your abilities and be the best you can be.
The North Central Region (NCR) of NAWIC supports the chapters in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. We welcome members from all sectors of the construction industry, and we are particularly well-represented with members working in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics. Membership in the NAWIC North Central Region will help you develop and broaden valuable business contacts for yourself and/or your company.

Annual Spring Forum & Fall Conference
In addition to all the great events hosted by your local chapter, the NAWIC North Central Region hosts an annual Spring Forum and a Fall Conference. These provide excellent opportunities to expand your professional contacts beyond your own chapter and gain new perspectives from a wide variety of women in our region. We strive to present dynamic speakers and provide networking opportunities that are truly beneficial to our members’ professional and personal growth.

Director Carla Klatt is our regional elected member on the NAWIC National Board. She believes that NAWIC’s core purpose “to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry” is the heart of our association. NAWIC provides support from, and sisterhood with, women in our industry that is second to none, and business relationships built through NAWIC are based upon trust and respect. The support, resources, education, and community that you receive as a member of NAWIC is curated to support both your professional and personal goals.
Director Klatt believes that becoming and remaining involved in NAWIC is the path to realize the full benefits that NAWIC has to offer. The more you get involved the more you will get in return. Joining a committee that interests you allows you the opportunity to share your experience, learn new skills, and create connections all while advancing the mission of NAWIC!
Many of our members have discovered that their involvement in committees has helped develop their professional confidence and leadership skills while also serving as a valuable addition to their resume.
